TIPS for getting
answers that work from the Bible Answer Machine
The Bible Answer Machine looks for every word in your question.
If the answer page comes up empty, try again, but leave out unnecessary words from your question. For example, if "What does the Bible have to say about sex?" comes up empty, try "What about sex?" or even type in just the keyword "sex" without a sentence.
If too many answers appear, try adding words to narrow the focus. For example, if you type in "Jesus?" the Bible Answer Machine will try to bring up every verse where the name Jesus appears. Changing the question to "Who is Jesus?" will narrow the focus to His identity.
To find a particular verse that may be quoted or discussed, type it out in full: Matthew 15:8-9 rather than Matt. 15:8-9
